Who We Are
Katrin Spiegel and Pit Banzhaf share a deep musical and creative connection.
Since 2016, their electro-pop duo Elev has been creating soundscapes that combine spontaneity, improvisation and experimentation with new sounds. Their collaboration is characterised by an authentic, warm dynamic and the joy of opening up new spaces for creativity.
Katrin has found a second home on the Croatian island of Hvar. The simplicity of life on the island gives her the peace and space to indulge her intuition and creativity. She loves creating beauty and meaning in everyday life through upcycling and sustainable projects.
Pit brings his outstanding creativity and expertise as a producer and multi-instrumentalist to the collaboration. With his warm, professional manner, he is able to encourage and inspire people musically. His ability to respond to individual needs makes him a compassionate and committed teacher.
Katrin Spiegel
Katrin Spiegel is a singer, composer and interdisciplinary artist with a deep connection to nature and creativity. Raised in the Austrian Alps, she discovered her passion for singing, composition, songwriting and creativity at an early age. Her work combines music, sustainability and poetry by fusing natural soundscapes with the human voice.
In her nature-inspired performance series and in collaboration with international artists and initiatives, Katrin is dedicated to the harmony between creativity and the environment.
In addition to her artistic work, Katrin has many years of experience in event and cultural management. She has curated and produced numerous important cultural projects, including the cultural event Camp Nocturno in Innsbruck’s Botanical Garden and collaborations with the environmental film festival Cinema Planeta in Mexico. As co-founder of the cultural association Right Thing 2 Do, she combines her passion for sustainability and art to create effective socio-cultural projects.
Her workshops invite participants to connect with their voice, creativity and nature for an enriching and inspiring experience.

Pit Banzhaf
Pit Banzhaf is a trained singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Originally from southern Germany, he has been working and teaching in Vienna for the past 12 years. He has been teaching singing at several different music schools such as Vocasa or the JSBM Popakademie. He’s been a lecturer for songwriting at Deutsche Pop in Vienna and is now focusing on private lessons on his platform wien-gesangsunterricht.com.
Pit founded his first band at the age of 14 and started writing songs at an early age. Always driven by curiosity, the desire to create and discover more about himself, he’s been collecting a lot of experience on and off stage. See here. Through collaborations with a wide variety of people and also the birth of his daughter 12 years ago, the focus of his interest soon expanded to topics that go beyond the pure craft. Creativity, body awareness, reflection, breathing, dealing with pressure and much more are common topics in art and conscious living.
